In Deep Space 💫

This project was pretty impulsive. I had finished reading a Doctor Doom comic collection that I picked up off a whim after hearing about the RDJ casting (🤷🏿‍♂️). Also wanted to get to know the character that inspired MF DOOM’s persona and villanous idenitity as I’ve always been a fan.

*IGL I tore through that collection….was a very enjoyable read. I find Doom is a lethal, tragic, and somewhat comedic figure and I really loved the way the comic book format creates such entertaining clashes between the heroes and villains and allows you to explore each character. This illustration is a concept piece for a comic series I’m writing called ‘Consultants’. The story follows a gang of mercenaries turned corporate, as they try to create a moat against the powerful empires that rule the galaxy.
